Squire von Springe is a picture perfect larger-sized 12 month-old German Shepherd. Don’t let his size fool you, Squire is still very much a puppy.  He’s always happy and ready to go, so he's seeking a family that is as active as he is.  And we aren’t just talking about walks -- Squire moves fast when it comes to making friends, when looking for cuddles and when he sees something too tempting not to investigate.  Around other dogs, Squire does great.  He doesn’t use his size to push anyone around, but he does seek partners to play and romp.  He would love to land a home where he has a regular playmate in residence or nearby.  Like most puppies with his energy level, Squire could benefit from basic training. However, although he can be goofy, he loves having your attention and would do well in a class, like the one that comes with his adoption.  But if you aren’t a local and think you have more than what it takes to raise  a good-natured Shepherd like Squire, he is approved for travel and can come to you.  Near or far, all it takes to help get this handsome boy on his path is to submit an application.
